Paul Donovan t/a Escape Routes (Cymru) is registered with The Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS) as licensed to provide specified activities under the following headings: Climbing, Trekking & Watersports (Ref.No.:L6313/R1533). Paul  is  an  International  Mountain  Leader  (IML)  and a full member of the British Association of International Mountain Leaders (BAIML). Affiliation is also granted to the Union of International Mountain Leader Association (UIMLA). Paul is currently the Training Officer & Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Officer for BAIML.
   

Paul is a qualified Summer & Winter Mountain Leader, an aspirant Mountain Instructor (MIA) and a registered Walking Group Leader (WGL) Course Director. Paul also represents BAIML on the Mountain Leader Training Wales (MLTW) & Mountain Leader Training UK (MLTUK) boards.
   

Paul is a British Canoe Union (BCU) aspirant Level 5 Kayak Coach, a qualified BCU Level 4 Kayak & Surf Coach and a BCU Level 3 Sea Coach. Paul is also a Welsh Canoeing Association (WCA) Contracted Course Provider, Centre Approval Inspector and Quality Assurance Inspector for Contracted Course Providers.
